DIY Kids Plays Bakery, Shops & More

We are in the process of building my daughter a small bakery to store her melissa & doug sets.
I found some inspiration via GOOGLE!

DIY Grocery Store for Pretend Play

What I like it the set up and fruit displays, but its not girly enough for me and a bit to big for what I need but some REALLY awesome concept! Found:http://blueberryjunkie.com/how-tos/diy-pretend-play-supermarket/

NOT DIY but way to cute to pass by and this can easy be made....

sold at Meijer for 49.99

Kids play market:

Play kitchen and market stall via IKEA Hacker
This is as pretty and detailed a homemade play kitchen I have seen. I love the addition of a market stall. So much fun.

the market is kinda the plan I am aiming for, however less busy, more of a bakery and less supermarket

kids play furniture

very pretty ( this is for a party but you could surely make a mini version)

This was my ioriginal insipriation.... I probably should have continued to wait for a trip to the city to get the wood but with 8 days till the party, I grew worried and buckled into what kmart had. But this beauty is my fav!

Just the pan ( painted pink) and

a few of these:

Target

and this was the first image i came across yrs ago.

Repurpose old kitchen gear as fun storage solutions. Here rolling pins hold accessories, baking pans create magnet boards and a muffin tin holds little trinkets.

I love the mixing bowl!!!!

So I'll let you in a sneek peek of what I purchased for my daughters 7th birthday KIDS DIY PLAY BAKERY

basically I bought 2 of these:

from kmart ( in the garage shelving section) for 20.00 each.....

and 2 of these:

for 15.00 each.

TO SAVE YOU ALOT OF MONEY DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FROM KMART> go to lowes or menards....way cheaper. i didnt have the time to go to the city which costs 20.00 in gas as well.

I am using the 2 boxes for : fruit crates & I have not decided if i am leaving the shelving as I have it now in 1 piece or 2 in a L shape. Ill show you pics of both when finished....... Come back to see the final product!
